Day 15 (Keri down 15 lbs Bob down 18 lbs)

Today was a good day. I lost another pound on day 14 and then maintained again today. I am happy that 15 pounds of me is now gone! I will not complain about that for sure. Bob has also lost 18 pounds and is doing very well in spite of his occasional very small bite of the kids brownies or chicken nuggets to keep himself going. lol I made a wonderful dinner of Chili the recipe will be posted later. Actually a lot of recipes will be because we are coming up with some awesome things! YUM YUM. It has made this diet bearable. I am happy to report that my daughter is also going to start the diet tomorrow, so I will probably be talking about her as well in this blog and posting pics. She is 15 years old and her name is Keslie. She would like to lose about 15-20 pounds. She is a beautiful girl and I am happy to be helping with her quest to be healthy.
I felt like I had more energy than yesterday, but it seems hard to keep the energy up....maybe that's because I am chasing after 6 kids all day long :)

Day 1 Starting the diet 83 pounds and 79 pounds to lose!

Well, what can I say? It has been a great journey so far. We are now on day 13, but I am going to go back a little to give some info about the first couple of days. We were going to go the injection route with the hcg, but decided in the end to do sub lingual. It has worked great so far. I have lost 14 pounds and Bob has lost 17 pounds. It is amazing to see how our clothes are fitting so much better. I can't believe how much our stomach's have gone down.
The first couple of load days were a little rough. It's hard to gorge on so much food, but I am glad I did because I had no hunger at all the first couple days of the diet. Bob on the other hand, did. He had a harder time adjusting to the reduced calories. He felt much better on day 3. So if you are just starting out and are wondering if your hunger is going to be in control, just wait it will. We also had a major headache the first week or so, probably due to caffeine withdrawal. We have both been shamefully addicted to diet coke. The first couple of days the loss was huge like 4 and 5 pounds each and then it has leveled off to average 1 lb a day. Don't however expect that everyday or you will be disappointed. I hit a plateau around day 10 and did not lose again for at least 3 days. I didn't worry about doing an apple day or anything like that, I know they are normal to weight loss. We are drinking the correct amount of water each day and haven't had any constipation yet. We did find a tea for that to use if it is a problem. It was at Harmons called "chocolate smooth move" It has sienna among other things to help keep you regular. The other thing I want to mention is that we have some awesome recipies that have kept the food very interesting and so we aren't bored with it yet!
It would have been nice to have some sort of support group to talk to. To get idea's like when I hit my plateau. This is why we are doing this blog, to help other's on their way to their goals! If we can do it SO CAN YOU!
